Carlos Davidson is an Emeritus Professor of Environmental Studies at San Francisco State University.
Research: I was a conservation biologist with a research focus on the causes of amphibian population declines. The web page has my academic CV, a list with links to my publications, and audio files from guides to the frog calls of the Pacific Coast and the Rocky Mountains and Southwest.
Divestment and Sustainablity: I am interested in issues of environmental justice, sustainability, and climate change. I am currently working on the campaign to pass legislation requiring CalPERS and CalSTRS to divest from fossil fuels.
